We’re excited to introduce the latest updates to KODE Labs' Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD) module, designed to enhance your user experience and improve building performance. These updates focus on delivering more customizable, intuitive, and efficient tools to manage faults and events across your buildings.

What’s new?

1. Recommended Possible Solutions: Upon a detected fault, you will now see top recommended solutions to help you resolve the fault faster. Every FDD routine now includes a set of possible solutions, helping users resolve issues quickly and efficiently. The library is customizable per building and accessible via web, email, and mobile.

2. Customizable Mobile Push Notifications: Deployment Teams and Client Admins can now configure the title and content of push notifications, allowing for more precise and scalable notifications tailored to specific use cases.

3. A better UI organization on Stream: We’ve consolidated the “Stream” and “All” tabs, improved the auto-refresh feature, introduced infinite scrolling, and renamed the 1-minute refresh rate to “Live” for real-time updates. Bulk acknowledgment options have also been improved.

4. Customizable Priority Levels: Administrators can now set between 3 to 5 customizable priority levels with different names and colors, providing better flexibility for managing fault events.

5. Time Window Logic Block: A new logic block that generates a true/false output based on specific days and times, enabling users to trigger events only during designated hours or adjust thresholds dynamically for different times of day.

How to Get Started

Accessing these new features is simple:

1. Possible Solutions Library: Available on both web and email, with mobile availability coming soon. Check it out within your FDD routine interface.

2. Customizable Mobile Push Notifications: Set up push notifications within your deployment settings under the “Policies” tab.

3. FDD Stream UI Updates: Experience the new UI directly in your FDD Stream page. Explore the new layout and improved functionality, like bulk acknowledgment and live refresh.

4. Dynamic Priority Levels: Administrators can adjust priority levels and customize their appearance by navigating to the settings in the FDD administration panel.
