Work Order Configuration

You can dynamically configure how the Work Order is created based on the triggered Alarm. To configure receiving a Work Order to your CMMS system follow the below steps.

  1. Navigate to the Events icon through the left navigation bar.

  2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the page that opens up > from the drop-down menu select the Create Event button.



  1. Select your building of choice from the Buildings menu on the left section to see the list of applied events.

  2. Select the routine you would like to enable the Work Order external communication for, from the Routines menu in the right section.

  3. Click on Next and you will see 2 columns “Devices” and “Alarm Routine Inputs” for event configuration.

    • Select the devices and points that you would like to apply the routine to.

  4. Click Next to go to Notification Settings.

  5. Scroll down to the External Communication section to Enable it and fill in the required information:

  • Select the Data Source (CMMS system) you would like to send the Work Order.

  • The other fields are filled in by default and they can manually be changed to your liking.

  • Once you fill in the required information click Save.


Work Order on Event Dashboard

Going to Events from the left main navigation bar, on the Events Dashboard page, you will see the External Communication column.

In that column, you will see the status of the Work Order for each of the alarms triggered.

  • Sent 

  • Failed to Sent

  • Not Configured


If there is an alarm from the Events list that does not have the Work Order External Communication configured,
you can configure it manually. To do so please follow the below steps:


  1. Click on the event that has the External Communication status Not Configured to go to the event details. 




  1. At the top right of the page that opens up you will see the Push External Communications button. 

  2. Clicking that button will open up a pop-up page from where you can choose the Data Source (CMMS system) you would like to send the Work Order to.

  3. Upon selecting the Data Source and filling in the required information, click Push to push the work order into your selected CMMS system.
