KODE Labs is releasing a big update on the Functional Testing Tool!
The new Functional Testing Tool allows you to use the Workflows Engine to define procedures and steps for testing any Mechanical Device and running Digital Commissioning.
Depending on your needs, these workflows can be scheduled to run periodically or on-demand.
The Workflows Engine allows you to define testing procedures and sequences for a particular Device type. You (admin permissions only) can create these sequences by connecting logic blocks.
There are various types of logic blocks, such as, Logical, Conditional, Arithmetical, Timing, Logging, and so on. Using these blocks you can create any type of operation sequence and verify that the device is performing as it should.
Creating a Job that can be of Recurring Type or On Demand has made testing a set of comparable devices simple. On-Demand allows you to run the Test on a group of Devices at any time you wish, or you can use the Recurring Type to run tests for that group periodically.
Every time the Job is run, it generates a report on how the group of Devices performed. The report can be seen for each device or by Job.
The Functional Testing Tool Update includes:
Running Digital Commissioning to verify the Devices Operation Sequences
Workflow Engine to build custom Sequences for devices
Reports on how the Devices are performing through time
