Training & User Onboarding

We recommend the following strategy for training end users.

FTT Dashboard

The following components should be walked through

  • Date Filter

  • How to read the cards

  • Filter by status (success, failure, archive)

  • Filter by Floor

  • Filter by Device Type

  • Detailed Test Results

FTT Test + Trends + Floor Plan

  • Filter main page for a workflow

  • Select a successful result, walk through how the test is designed

  • Go back to the main dashboard and filter only for failures

  • Select a failed result, discuss the issue, click the device details, and filter to the last 7 days or last 30 days to see if this is a persistent or ongoing trend. Check the reference device. Check the device location to see the space on the floor. Read the nearby device names to see if they have failed as well.

  • Repeat for 2 - 3 failures per workflow type. Demonstrate the next test / previous test buttons

Floor Plans + Device Details + FTT Test

  • Pick a device on the floor plan, maybe one with an active fault

  • Show the latest FTT result and go to the test result arrow

  • Show the FTT on the left sidebar and access all the historical FTT results

  • Show how FTT can be run on command for a single device

  • Discuss how through continuous commissioning you will always have the latest test results to view anytime you access device details

FTT Project Creation

  • Walk through creating a project, tuning parameters, adjusting the schedule

  • See here for our full user guide on FTT projects.
