Schedules

Introduction 

Schedules are the programming logic that commands major mechanical equipment to enter an occupied or unoccupied mode. The Schedules feature allows you to manage and modify the functioning schedules of various devices that are connected in a building.

Login into the Mobile app, choose the building of your likings where the list of features will be shown into your screen, click on Schedules where you can see further details.



By default you will get to see the list of all visible existing Schedules. The list of existing Schedules can be filtered into:

  •     All Schedules

  •     Show only hidden

  •     Show only visible 


By clicking on any of the schedules you will be directed to the
Schedule’s details. This page is spilt into three main windows.

  •      Weekly Schedule

  •      Special Events

  •      Properties



Weekly Schedule 

Weekly Schedules allow the user to control several devices based on the time of day within a seven-day week. 

Add New Event

To add New Event – click on the plus button at the bottom right and a pop-up page will open, from there add the day of the week, the start and end time of the event, select the output value (e.g. Occupied or Unoccupied), and click on Save.


Edit, Copy and Delete Events on Schedules

To Edit an Event on Schedules, click on the three dots at the end of the row and select the Edit icon . From there you will be directed to the Edit Event page from where you can modify it.

To Copy an Event on Schedules, click on the three dots at the end of the row and select the Copy icon .

To Delete an Event on Schedules, click on the three dots at the end of the row and select the trash icon. From there the confirm page for deletion will be open.

 Special Events

Exceptions are added on Special Events, such as Holidays, that can be referenced in more than one individual Schedule.


Create special events

Go to Schedule of your choice > Special Events > Click on the plus button to add a new event.



From here you can create:

  •  New Event 

  •  New Reference


Click on New Event and a pop-up page with details will open. From there fill -n the Display Name and the Type. 


Types are Custom, Week and Day, Data and Data Range. After clicking on them, fill in the details regarding the time and days and click Save.


To create a new reference click on New Reference and a pop-up window will appear, fill the Reference Name and choose the Reference of your choice then click Save.


Notes

Note: Only Niagara Data Sources support special events.

Edit and Delete Special Events on Schedules

To Edit a Special Event on Schedules, click on the three dots at the end of the row and select the Edit icon . From there you will be directed to the Edit Event page from where you can modify it.

To Delete an Event on Schedules, click on the three dots at the end of the row and select the trash icon. From there the confirm page for deletion will be open. Click delete and the Event will be deleted.

Properties

Properties page is split into three columns :


  • Schedule Details contains Schedule Name, Connector, Point Name, Area, Current Value, Tags, Location.


  • Properties include Effective Periods, Default Output and Facets.

  •  Effective Period (the start and end date the schedule will run), facets which will be displayed based on the type of the schedule.


  •  At Point Reference you will see devices and their associated Points, from this section you get to see the devices that are controlled by the schedule.
