Routines

Routines

Navigate to Routines, by clicking on the three dots button within the Events Dashboard.

The Routines page allows users to view and design algorithms or logical flows that can be applied to devices of one
or more buildings in the Events page.

The page displays a list of all existing routines along with a Description, Priority, and Event Type.

To change an existing routine, hover over it until a button with three vertical dots pops up. Clicking on this button will
show a dropdown menu with three options:

  • Edit Routine - Opens up the routine designer interface allowing one to change the logical flow of that routine along with its Name, Description, Priority and Event type.

  • Duplicate Routine - Duplicates the routine with the only difference being that the name of the new duplicate is “OriginalRoutineName Copy”

  • Delete Routine - Deletes the routine from the list.

To add and design a new routine, follow the below steps:

  • Click on the “Create Routine” button on the top right corner, and a window will pop up that requires (Name, Description, Device Types, Event Type, and Priority)

  • Once you have filled out the information, click on the “Next” button

  • Now you can design a routine by dragging various blocks from the list provided on the left.

  • Each block has various interfacing options such as inputs, names, values, etc.

  • Right-clicking on a block gives users the ability to delete the block or duplicate it. You can scroll in the workspace (the grid) to zoom in or out, allowing for more space to build routines.

  • Different blocks are connected to each other by dragging an arrow from one to another.
