Requesting Access

Requesting Access

The access request feature is used to grant users temporary access to a building's data within KODE OS. Most commonly used to manage 3rd party contractors or onsite engineers that are covering shifts or rotating between buildings.



You can request access to buildings for yourself or on the behalf of another user who may need access by following the steps below.


  1. Click on the Access icon in the left navigation bar.
  2. A page will open up where you can find the request access button on the bottom right corner.


  3.   Once you click on the access button a “Request Access” window will appear.

  4.     Once you fill in all required 

  1. An admin user will be able to Accept or Reject your request.
  2. If you are an Admin user you are able to accept/reject requests by clicking on them on the Access list view.
  3. Once you click on the request, a window will open up on the right allowing you to select Accept or Reject.
