KODE OS Mobile Restructure

KODE OS Mobile Restructure

KODE 2.0 is LIVE!

We're thrilled to introduce a complete rebuild of our mobile platform, transforming building management into an effortlessly intuitive experience. Our focus? Clarity, ease, and power-packed features.

Before

All modules were bundled in a  side menu, making it hard to distinguish between portfolio and site views. A secondary side navigator for building selection added complexity on top of it.

Now

Clear distinction between portfolio and site views, centered around user-friendly navigation.

Landing Pages

We've streamlined navigation to feel natural, whether you're managing a single building or an entire portfolio.

Portfolio View

Site View

Upon logging in, you are welcomed to the Portfolio View – your central hub. From here, you can smoothly transition to your Profile, Notifications, or dive into Building Details.

Default View: Building sites are now prominently displayed on the Portfolio View for quick navigation.

In the Site View, your first stop is Dashboards. And here’s where it gets even better: when you select a building from the Portfolio View, the side menu adepts to that building - showing you building-specific modules. The Sites View is designed to be as familiar as the old dashboards, ensuring a seamless transition.

Seamless Switching: Easily change buildings with a new building switcher at the bottom of the page. A list of available buildings and a search bar makes it easier to go to your desired building.

Goodbye, Bottom Bar 👋

The bottom bar is now replaced with a new bottom sheet navigation panel across all modules for consistent access. The bottom bar is there to ensure that you're always just a tap away from where you need to be.

On the Portfolio View: From the bottom sheet, you can navigate between the Landing page, Dashboards, Building BI, FDD, FTT, Search, and Bookmarks. Also, you can reorder modules as you prefer.

On the Site View: From the bottom sheet, you can switch the building you’re at, view your essentials (systems, areas, devices, points and data sources), navigate to your modules (Building BI, FDD, FTT, Schedules, OSS, Audit), and you can reorder modules as you prefer.

Notifications accessible across modules 🔔

Notifications are fine-tuned for a more streamlined experience. While browsing in list views across various modules, you will effortlessly access all your notifications. This ensures that you stay informed without interruption. However, to maintain focus and reduce visual clutter, the notification icon will cleverly hide itself while you are in a detailed view or while you are applying filters. Also, when you navigate from the Home (Sites Page) to your Profile or Notifications, the bottom navigation sheet steps aside, replaced by a handy back button.
