Events

Access the "Event" Page through the Settings menu to view, search, add, edit, and delete Events.

The Event page is divided into two distinct sections: Classes and Types.

1. Classes

In this page you can create Class Events,  Event Class is a grouping of similar type events related to specific buildings or equipment. Consider, for example, a security team in a building that needs notifications for CCTV or access control equipment. In such cases, an Event Class can be established with a name, and users designated to receive notifications from the Event module can be specified.

1.1 Adding an “Event Class”

To add an Event Class, click on the "+Add Event Class" button on the right.

This action opens a pop-up window where you can input details such as the Event Class name, description, user roles for event priorities, and settings for warning and alert boxes. Once the necessary information is entered, click save to create the Event Class.

1.2 Edit and remove “Classes of Events”

Click on the three dots next to the category or a specific unit to add, edit, or delete Events.

2. Types

In this section, you'll find all the event types already created on your Kode OS platform. Hovering over the right side of each event type allows you to either edit or delete the respective event type.

2.1 Edit and remove “Types of Events”

Click on the three dots next to the category or a specific unit to add, edit, or delete Events.
