Event Report

Event Report

The Event Report page provides a centralized view for reviewing, investigating, and managing events. It combines device trends, event metadata, assignment controls, and collaboration tools to help users quickly understand what happened and take appropriate action.

InfoNote: To access the new view, use the Switch to New Version button in the top-right corner.

Accessing the Event Report

Selecting an event from the Events list automatically opens the Event Report page. Each report corresponds to a single event generated by an FDD routine and is tied to a specific device.

Event Header

At the top of the page, users can see key identifying information for the event, including:

  • Event Name, which describes the condition that was detected

  • Event ID, which is automatically generated when the event is created

  • Assigned users, shown as avatars

  • An Acknowledge button (for assigned users) to confirm the event has been reviewed

Point Selection Panel

The point selection panel allows users to interact with the trend view.

  • Users can search for points and selectively show or hide them on the chart

  • Selected points update the trend visualization in real time

The sidebar is the primary navigation area for investigating an event and appears before the main Event Details section. It provides structured access to supporting information, history, and collaboration tools.

1. Details

The Details section is the first option in the sidebar and provides a summary of the event, including:

  • Description and current state

  • Priority level

  • Triggering point name and value

  • Start time, end time, and duration

  • Affected device, area, floor, and building

2. Possible Solutions (when available)

3. Configuration Parameters

Lists relevant configuration values and allows quick access to the associated FDD configuration.

4. Historical Events

Shows previous occurrences of the same event on the same device, helping identify recurring issues or patterns.

5. Work Orders

Displays any work orders linked to the event. Here, you also have the option to create new work orders by clicking the “+”.

6. Referenced Devices

7. Comments

Provides a shared space for team members to document findings, updates, and actions taken.

8. Activity Log

Tracks all user actions and system updates associated with the event, creating a complete audit trail.
