Audit Feature

Audit Module

The Audit Module allows users to view actual and historical data of related devices and points in a straightforward manner. To create an audit template including the device type and points of your choice please follow the below steps.

  1. Navigate to the 'Sites' section in the left navigation bar.

  2. Select the desired site according to your preferences.

  3.  Enter the site view and proceed to the Audit feature by selecting it from the left navigation bar.

  4. Here, you can access pre-existing templates from the left sidebar or create a new one.


Create a new template

  1. Click on the three dots button and select “Add a new template” to create a new audit log.
  2. Choose the name of the Template and add a Description.



  1. Click Next and Choose the type of device that you want to create the audit log for, in the Create Template window that opens up.
  1. The points of the selected type of device will be displayed in the window.
  1. Note: The order you select the points for will be the order they show up as columns in the audit log.

  2. Tip: Go back to your building’s dashboard > Devices > Device details to check the type of point is the one you want to include in the Audit Log (e.g bool, number, string).

  1. Select the points that you want to see in your audit log.

  2. Once the points are selected, you can click on Preview in the bottom right of the window to see a one-time view of how the points selected will be displayed. 

  3. To save this view, click the three dots button on the top right corner and select “Edit Template”.

  4. Click on Save, and you have now created your audit template.

  5. The audit template you created will now appear in the right hand menu.

    1. You are able to sort the devices and points by clicking on the header of each column.

    2. You are able to filter the devices and points by clicking on the filters button on the top right.

      1. You are able to save the filtered audit log as a new template by clicking on Save Filters once you have applied the filter of your choice.
