Commanding and Controlling Equipment

Commanding and Controlling Equipment

Command and Control actions allow users to adjust setpoints and variables on equipment to influence their operations. These actions can only be performed on writable points.

Users can access command and control functionality by clicking on a point reading from a floor plan or while viewing the device details for a piece of equipment. From the device details page you will see on hover, a blue box indicating the point is writable.

Navigate to device details by:

  1. Clicking on a device name of the floor plan
  2. Navigating to a building dashboard> devices > selecting device of interest
  3. Searching for a specific device via universal search

Clicking into the write point section will provide a menu that allows you to:

    1. Select the priority level
    2. Select the point value
    3. Select the duration of the change
    4. Provide a reason for making the change
