Clients

As a Channel Partner, you can manage your clients in Launchpad and activate KODE OS and myMSI applications for them. 

Add a client

If you are a Channel Partner and you want to add a new client, 

  1. In Launchpad, click Clients

  2. Click the +Add Client button. The Add Client page appears.

  1. Enter the following information: 

    • Client Name*

    • Workspace Domain*: A unique URL that is assigned to each client. The proper way to name it is by getting the domain name of their website. For instance, if a client named ZEN Estate has the website as  zenestate.com, you would put their workspace domain as zenestate.kodelabs.com. 

    • Country Code

    • Office Phone Number

    • Address (Address, City, State, Country, Zip, Country, Zip Code)*

    • Contact Person (Name, Email, Phone Number)*

  2. Click Save. The Assign App(s) window appears.



  1. Select each app by clicking on the checkboxes and then click Assign App(s) to save your changes.

The new client is created and appears in the client list. 

Info: In cases when you need to deactivate a client, go to their profile and click the three dots button, and select Deactivate Client. Deactivating the client stops data collection. If the client is reactivated later, all operations resume, and data collection restarts as expected.

Activate KODE OS for a client

To activate KODE OS for a client,

  1. In the sidebar, select Clients. The list of your clients appears, displaying the Name, Address, Number of Buildings,  and Number of Users for each.

  2. Select the Client for whom you want to activate KODE OS. The Client Information page appears.



  1. Click the Activate button next to KODE OS. The Activate App pop-up window appears.

  1. Click Yes, Activate. The app is activated for the client.


Activate myMSI for a client

To activate myMSI for a client,

  1. In the sidebar, select Clients. The list of your clients appears, displaying the Name, Address, Number of Buildings,  and Number of Users for each.

  2. Select the Client for whom you want to activate myMSI. The Client Information page appears.

  3. Click the Activate button next to myMSI. The Activate App pop-up window appears.

  4. Click Yes, Activate. The app is activated for the client.


Search for clients

The Search function provides the ability to look for clients.

To search for clients,

  1. In the Channel Launchpad, click Clients. The Client List appears.



  1. In the Search field, type the name of the client you are looking for.

  2. Once the results are narrowed, you can click on the client to view their details.
