Bookmarks

You can use bookmarks to quickly find and jump back to a specific device, or floor plan widget instead of scrolling through multiple pages.


With Bookmarks, you can use it as a navigational tool, as well as a link or reference.


Bookmarks are marked as private, only you can see them in the Bookmarks dashboard. However when you leave notes on device details they will show up for other users on the Notes section of devices. 



Add Bookmarks

There are 2 main places you can add Bookmarks:

From the Devices 

  • Navigate to Device Details via the Site Dashboard.

  • Click on Devices.

  • Select or search the desired Device.

  • From the Device Details page click on Bookmarks icon. 

  • A bookmark dialog box appears.

  • Under Bookmark Note, add a note and click Save.

  • This item will be also shown in the Bookmark dashboard as an item.


From the Floor Plans

  1. Navigate to the Site Dashboard of the building of your choice and select Areas on the General Widget.

A list of Areas (floors) will be displayed, where you can select areas starting from the lowest (i.e. Basement) to the highest (i.e. Rooftop).


Selecting an area will take you to its Dashboard view. To change dashboards tap the Dashboards bar at the top

  1.  right > from the drop down menu select the dashboard of your choice.

  2. From the Floor Plan widget click on Bookmarks icon. 

  3. The Bookmark dialog box opens.

  4. Under Bookmark Note, add a note and click Save.

  5. This item will be also shown in the Bookmark dashboard as an item.

Find a Bookmark

After creating your bookmarks, you can easily find them or jump to them at any time within the Bookmarks Dashboard.


The Bookmarks Dashboard  live on the home page where all other modules are, but you can customize and put in the bottom navigation bar.


  1. Click on the Bookmark icon through the bottom bar to navigate to the Bookmarks Feature.

To sort bookmarks based on creation date from the bookmarks list click on the Sort icon at the top right of the bookmarks list.

  1. Selecting a bookmark from the list will take you to the bookmarked location.

Delete a Bookmark

You can delete bookmarks that you no longer need. You can achieve this directly from the Bookmark module where all bookmarks are listed or by navigating to the bookmark place.

To remove a Bookmark, click on next to the bookmark you want to remove.


When you access device details, floor plan widgets or event details you will be able to remove the bookmark from there as well. The item immediately will also be removed from the Bookmarks dashboard.
